1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services of Mr. J's Gutters ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Mr. J's Gutters provides professional gutter installation, repair, cleaning, and maintenance services for residential and commercial properties in Pueblo, Colorado and surrounding areas. Our services include:
- Gutter installation and replacement
- Gutter repair and maintenance
- Gutter cleaning services
- Gutter guard installation
- Downspout services
- Emergency repair services
3. Service Appointments and Scheduling
3.1 Scheduling: All services are scheduled by appointment. We will work with you to find a convenient time for service delivery.
3.2 Cancellation: We require 24-hour notice for cancellation of scheduled appointments. Late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.
3.3 Weather Delays: Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions for safety reasons.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Estimates: We provide free estimates for all services. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
4.2 Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
4.3 Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Financing options are available for qualifying projects.
4.4 Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for emergency services, after-hours work, or services outside our standard service area.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
5.1 Workmanship Warranty: We provide a 2-year warranty on all workmanship and installation services.
5.2 Material Warranty: Gutter materials carry manufacturer warranties ranging from 20-25 years depending on the product selected.
5.3 Warranty Claims: Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period. We will inspect and repair or replace defective work at no additional cost.
5.4 Warranty Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by:
- Acts of nature (storms, hail, etc.)
- Improper maintenance or cleaning
- Unauthorized modifications
- Normal wear and tear after warranty period
6. Service Standards and Quality
6.1 Professional Standards: All services are performed by trained, licensed, and insured professionals.
6.2 Safety Compliance: We adhere to all applicable safety standards and regulations including OSHA guidelines.
6.3 Quality Assurance: We conduct quality inspections on all completed work to ensure customer satisfaction.
6.4 Cleanup: We will clean up all work areas and dispose of materials properly upon completion of services.
7. Emergency Services
7.1 Availability: Emergency services are available 24/7 for urgent gutter problems that pose immediate risk to property.
7.2 Emergency Rates: Emergency services may incur additional charges due to after-hours response and expedited scheduling.
7.3 Response Time: We strive to respond to emergency calls within 2-4 hours, depending on location and current workload.
8. Customer Responsibilities
8.1 Access: Customers must provide safe and clear access to work areas.
8.2 Pets and Children: Please secure pets and children away from work areas during service delivery.
8.3 Property Preparation: Customers should remove or secure any items that might interfere with service delivery.
8.4 Maintenance: Regular maintenance and cleaning of gutters is recommended to ensure optimal performance.
9. Liability and Insurance
9.1 Insurance Coverage: Mr. J's Gutters maintains comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage.
9.2 Damage Claims: Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
9.3 Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided or the cost of repair, whichever is less.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Communication: We encourage open communication to resolve any concerns or disputes promptly.
10.2 Mediation: If disputes cannot be resolved through direct communication, we may suggest mediation services.
10.3 Legal Action: Legal action should only be considered as a last resort after all other resolution methods have been exhausted.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
